Douglas Machine Shop, Inc. is not just a machine shop. We have Auto CAD, CNC machinery, 400-amp High definition plasma-cutting table, welding and sheet metal fabrication. A few of our clientele include industrial manufacturing, sawmills, aggregate, poultry industry, landscaping machines and agricultural parts. We are also a steel and industrial supplies retailer.
One of our greatest and most successful accomplishments has been the invention and creation of our shaving mill, Douglas Shaving Mill 1040. The first shave mill was built in 1976 before we were even a full-time business. Our Shaving Mill 1040 was designed by our owner and president, Kenny Douglas, and fabricated in our shop from the ground up including the cutter-heads. See Our Videos of the Shaving Mill 1040 Here.
Douglas Machine Shop, Inc. started in a twelve hundred square foot building with one employee and has grown through determination and quality work into a twenty-nine thousand square foot building with seventeen employees, some of which have been with us for ten to fifteen years.
At Douglas Machine Shop, Inc. we strive to meet the needs of our customers. Our customers have proven to be our best advertisement. Our machine knowledge and quality performance; have brought many of our same customers back for thirty-one years.
