Snowtubing is the sledding of the millenium, and this year. Jonas Ridge SNowtubing offers a great addition to any ski vacation for those considering Banner Elk, NC as their destination.

We are a wonderful addition to other High Country winter sports activities such as Sugar Mountain, Beech Mountain, Hawksnest, and Appalachian Ski Mountain. Jonas Ridge Snowtubing is the place for you, your spouse, the kids, friends, neighbors, and anyone who can master a rubber innertube.

Gravity does its thing, zipping you down the runs leaving you gasping for air.

Nighttime, no worry, we have lights for night tubing.

And remember we have snow guns. Even if it looks like no snow where you are, chances are, we have it here in the cold mountain air!

Our Rates:

Monday thru Thursday: $20.00 per person
Friday thru Sunday: $25.00 per person
Christmas thru New Year's Day: $25.00 per person
Martin Luther King &President's Day: $25.00

Groups of 15 or more must call ahead for scheduling information: $20.00 per person

All rates are for two hour sessions.

Our Hours:

Sunday thru Thursday: 12:00noon - 6:00pm
Friday: 12:00noon - 11:00pm
Saturdays & Holiday Mondays: 10:00am - 11:00pm

Our Rules:
  1. Everyone must sign a Release of Liability form.
  2. If you are under 18, a parent or gurdian must sign the form for you.
  3. Children between the ages of 4 - 6 must be under adult supervision (and daytime only)
  4. No two-person tubing is allowed.
  5. Everyone must ride in their own tube, which will be provided for you.
